Saturday Dec 5: Awards Banquet and Christmas Party Clubhouse. If your dog received awards/titles from Nov 08 through Oct 31, 09 let Tracey Sivacek know. You will need to type up a little article that will be read during the banquet.
Sunday Jan 17: Our Fun Match. Mark your calendars. Know anyone that wants to judge? Tell them to call Jim Chambers.
2010 Shows: Since both shows are so close together (in April and May), we need to list trophies for both shows at the same time. Trophy List went around last meeting but it’s not too late to sponsor a win for your favorite breed! Prices are: BOB $22.50, BOW, BOS $20.00, Jr Show: 1st in Class: $15.00, WD/WB $12.50, 1st in class(conformation) or a specific breed in Obedience for high scoring: $7.50. Groups have been donated by JeffersPet in the past. If you want to sponsor a trophy contact Trophy Chair: Shannon Jackson at shannon@redearthaussies.com.

Do you have a Pet Emergency Kit? Here are a few items you may want to put together just in case… Bandages
A topical antibiotic such as Neosporin that does not contain lidocaine, benzocaine or cortisone
Benadryl without Tylenol in it (Tylenol is toxic to dogs and cats)
Sterile saline solution, to flush eyes or clean wounds
A muzzle, ideally a "basket muzzle" that allows the animal to open its mouth and breathe freely
ACE-type bandages to wrap injuries if necessary
Hydrogen peroxide, which can be used to induce vomiting (call your vet first before using this)
Tweezers, to remove splints or other small items from paws.

CLUBHOUSE BRAGS : Judy Cartner had a surprise litter 2 bitches, 2 dogs. Nancy & Maylan Ramsay were stewards in obedience and rally in Atlanta. What a long day they had!
Michelle Dilorenzo’s husband, Stephen, is now in flight school. Shannon Jackson’s daughter, Sara, is #1 in Jrs in NASA. Way to go!!!!! Randy Griffin says "hello" from USF. School is going well. Tracey Sivacek is to be a grandma again soon. Plus she has a new German Shep pup called Auburn. Becky Goodyear and Rosie won a Group 2 and 3 in Atlanta, and won two majors on her bred by boy, Oliver. He now just needs one point to finish. Jimmy & Carla’s Sam won two days for 4 points in Atlanta. He just needs a major to finish.
Tracey Sivacek’s husband, Matt, is now in Afghanistan Keep him safe with your prayers please.
On a sad note, Corky Gauger passed away October 2. Corky was a great judge who often helped us out of a spot when someone would back out from judging. In addition, Judy Doniere passed away a few weeks back also.
