Twice a year, the SEAKC sponsors AKC licensed dog shows and obedience trials. Once a year, the club sponsors an AKC sanctioned match. (A match is a practice show to help train novice dogs and handlers for actually entering an AKC dog show).
Ten week training classes for obedience and six week training classes for conformation are held twice a year. These classes are open to the public. Contact a club member or your local veterinarian for the date and location of the next class . The SEAKC participates in local festivals and parades. Demonstrations and clinics are held at shopping malls, schools, nursing homes, etc.
